The first day of summer is just two days away (I don't know about you, but I count it from June 1 - the sooner the better!), which means that the nights will be warm and... much more fun! And fun means we will be needing some appropriate outfits, am I right? So here are three ensembles I totally wouldn't mind wearing.

Last week we went to Rome for a business&pleasure trip and this is the first part of the pics we took there. Rome is one of my favorite cities in the world, it so incredibly beautiful and you can sense history in its every stone, yet it does not look or feel like a museum, unlike many other Italian cities. Instead, it is a living, breathing city, full of life and energy and it is so beautiful it takes my breath away and makes my heart beat faster each and every time I see it. It's love.

About a month ago I published my very first Insta-post, which (weirdly) became my 5th most popular post of all time, as you can see in the right sidebar, so I figured it was time for a new one. Here's a selection of my May instapics. If you're not a follower yet, you can follow me HERE. Let me know if you want me to follow back and I will. Have a great start to your week! :)

After my last outfit post I decided to keep experimenting with crop tops. This time it is actually a crop blouse in a pretty salmon pink color and a super light peach skin fabric. I wore it with a pair of slouchy leopard print pants (note that I'm avoiding the term "sweatpants", which they basically are, but still...) which were a perfect match for my brand new handmade Nora Tordai cuff bracelet, which I'm absolutely in love with.

If you know me a little, you know that I am passionate about good art and also that I'm quite picky when it comes to my definition of "good". With that being said, today I would like to introduce you to an immensely talented young artist whose work I really enjoy. Her name is Alisa Gromova and she is originally from Moscow. While she lived there, she worked in event decoration, particularly focusing on flowers, and she has also been painting since she was a child and had a few exhibitions in Moscow. She now lives in Ecuador where she continues to paint and exhibit her work (http://www.alisagromova.com/

There has been a lot of Nineties influence going on in the fashion world lately, with crop tops and all, so for one day I decided to try it out for myself and embrace the trend. This crop top is as short as I was willing to go for now and I wore a blue shirt with checkered details over it, pairing it with my super comfy PRAIO jeans (#madeinitaly)and Fendi shoes and bag. What do you think?

Today I was so happy to wear this vintage dress I bought in Venice, California last summer for the first time this season, but... it didn't exactly go as I planned. I mean, until now I was convinced that I was living in Tuscany, not in Iceland! Well, let me tell you: the wind was so cold I could only manage one picture without my jacket... So here's mid-May in Florence to you.

I'm writing this post from Forte dei Marmi (on the Tyrrhenian sea) where I'm spending the weekend. I decided to go with a casual, but kind of elegant nautical theme to match the location, which is just that: casually elegant and nautical :)

For weeks now I've been going on about how much I love florals this spring, so today I'm especially proud to introduce you to my newest find: pixelated florals, which I think is a great fresh and modern take on this trend. I figured that no self-respecting fashion blogger can do without a sweatshirt and something floral this season, and now I have both :P
