This is definitely the most daring outfit I have ever posted on my blog and it took some courage to leave the house dressed like this, but I had this look in mind for Halloween, so nothing could stop me :) It's really strange how the human mind works... If I was wearing a one piece swimsuit, no one would consider my look particularly sensual or extraordinary, but since I wore a bodysuit covered by a mesh dress, it suddenly becomes a borderline fetish outfit. By the way, this dress look very normal and chaste on the hanger - which is why I bought it in the first place - but in the right (or should I say wrong?) light it becomes completely transparent, as you can see. I wore it only once before, to a party in L.A., and it has been packed away in my wardrobe ever since...until now.

If there's an advantage to the colder months it's the fact that the holiday season brings along a lot of exciting events and parties that we get to dress up for, which is always fun! For this post I chose a few of my favorite Tidebuy bodycon dresses to give you some inspiration for this season. I have always loved open back dresses - it's one of the most subtle and elegant ways to show some skin, wouldn't you agree? It is best to balance it out with a not very short hemline, preferably one that ends right above the knee, for a sophisticated but sensual look. Choose either rich saturated jewel colors such as burgundy or emerald green, or opt for a more understated look in classic black or navy blue.

It's slowly but surely getting chillier here in Florence and all I want to do is wrap myself up in a cozy cardi and drink tea with butter cookies. Yum. Speaking of cozy sweaters, I got myself quite a few new ones, including this asymmetrical hem number from Choies which I'm literally wearing day and night right now. Today I wore it with a pair of bootcut jeans, suede ankle boots and a powder blue silk scarf. Taking these pictures was quite a challenge, because it was incredibly windy and I ended up with both my hair and my scarf flapping in my face... that is until we found this lovely wind-free location - the courtyard of an abandoned villa. They came out pretty decent in the end. What do you think? ;)

Halloween has always fascinated me. As a born and raised European girl I first caught glimpses of it watching Hollywood movies and I thought of it as this mysterious and scary foreign holiday when kids get lots of candy and serial killers are most active. Needless to say, today my vision is a little different: I admire Halloween, because once a year it allows people to make fun of death in the most incredibly creative ways! Of course, Halloween would be nothing without the costumes, the candy and the decorations. Whether you prefer to celebrate with a fun outfit, a wild party, or cozy up with a good book and some treats, I’m sure you’ll love my selection of handmade Halloween favorites as much as I do.

To me Halloween is all about black lace and feathers, how about you? I don't really like to wear proper costumes, but dressing up can still be lots of fun, especially when you have such a good excuse to wear something you otherwise wouldn't. How about a black lace mask or cat ears, for example? Let me show you my Halloween favorites from Choies - a sexy, glamorous and sometimes downright spooky selection (see the blood splatter sweatshirt below). Let me know which items you like the most!

This is the outfit I wore for dinner on Sunday night. A little black dress is truly a girl's best friend, especially when you have little time to get ready. Just throw on a few statement accessories and you're good to go! I really love this necklace made up of several different chains - it instantly adds a rock chic touch to anything. I have to admit one thing though: the cleavage of this dress wasn't originally this deep. There used to be a piece of black fabric covering it, which I promptly eliminated, because I thought it looked way too modest that way... What do you guys think? :)

Today's beauty secret arrived to my doorstep directly from the magical Greek island of Crete. You all know how much I love organic cosmetics and Fisika's line of all-natural creams with organic olive oil is definitely one to try.
