Choies Halloween Shopping

To me Halloween is all about black lace and feathers, how about you? I don't really like to wear proper costumes, but dressing up can still be lots of fun, especially when you have such a good excuse to wear something you otherwise wouldn't. How about a black lace mask or cat ears, for example? Let me show you my Halloween favorites from Choies - a sexy, glamorous and sometimes downright spooky selection (see the blood splatter sweatshirt below). Let me know which items you like the most!

Little Black Dress

This is the outfit I wore for dinner on Sunday night. A little black dress is truly a girl's best friend, especially when you have little time to get ready. Just throw on a few statement accessories and you're good to go! I really love this necklace made up of several different chains - it instantly adds a rock chic touch to anything. I have to admit one thing though: the cleavage of this dress wasn't originally this deep. There used to be a piece of black fabric covering it, which I promptly eliminated, because I thought it looked way too modest that way... What do you guys think? :)

Fisika All-Natural Skincare

Today's beauty secret arrived to my doorstep directly from the magical Greek island of Crete. You all know how much I love organic cosmetics and Fisika's line of all-natural creams with organic olive oil is definitely one to try.

Handmade Fall Essentials

Ok, so maybe these are not - strictly speaking - essentials, but they would definitely be wonderful additions to any girl's wardrobe (or home). I, for one, would love to own all of these amazing items I found on Etsy, from these gorgeous handmade fall shoes to the super cozy home d├ęcor. If you have been reading my blog for a while, you know that I really enjoy browsing this website, because I never fail to find unique and beautifully made things from artisans from all over the world. I hope you like this selection and I'd love to know which items are your favorites!

Casual Warrior

Coat season has officially started here in Florence and even though it's not that cold yet and some tourists are still wearing flip flops, I prefer to keep warm, especially in the evening when it can get really chilly (Tuscany-chilly, not Canada-chilly, but still). In these pictures I'm wearing my brand new Choies coat, which slightly reminds me of the gear of Mongolian warriors with its leather straps and wide lapels and I really love its original style and how soft and cozy it feels.

Let's Talk Coats

When fall comes along and I get my first taste of chilly weather, there's only one thing on my mind: coats. Where are my coats? Do they still fit me? Are they warm enough? And, most importantly, do I have enough? They never seem enough! If you think about it, it's pretty logical actually, because during the colder months you wear a coat every time you go out and many people will only see you with your coat on, so you can't wear the same ones all the time, can you? It seems reasonable to make purchasing a few nice fall/winter coats a priority over the 20th pair of jeans or the 100th knit sweater. Here are some of the pretty options I've been eyeing on Tidebuy. Let me know which ones you like the most!

Esqido Love

Esqido Voila Lash

You might remember this post where I showed you my very first pair of Esqido mink lashes. It was love at first sight and I am pleased to inform you that we are still going strong, two months and multiple wears - parties, meetings and photo shoots - later (Esqido lashes can be worn up to 25 times!). That first time I chose the BFF, an amazingly beautiful yet completely undetectable model, which I can wear any day of the week, morning or evening, but this time around I opted for two of the more daring Esqido designs: the Voila Lash (above) and the Lashlorette.
